HOMEWOOD SUITES SCHEDULED TO OPEN FOR BUSINESS THIS MONTH

Buccini Pollin Group has recently completed construction on a new six-story, ninety-one room hotel in Newark, Delaware.  The Homewood Suites, located on Route 896, is a 77,500 square foot all-suites hotel with an indoor swimming pool and fitness center.  Gordon and Green Architects was the lead architect on the project and DiSabatino Construction Company was the construction manager. 

Joe Charma from Landmark Engineering, Inc. designed the site.  The site consisted of 2.2 narrow acres, which required careful, innovative site planning and building layout.  The site features a subsurface storm water management system, consisting of 620+/- linear feet of 60” diameter corrugated metal pipe, constructed under the parking area to conserve valuable usable land.

The developer has received the certificate of occupancy and is scheduled to open for business this month.
